Sudoku is a popular number puzzle game where the objective is to fill all empty squares such that the numbers 1 to 9 appear once in each row, column and 3x3 box. Skava’s latest Sudoku games have the following features:

MULTIPLE VALUES: While solving the puzzle you can temporarily show multiple numbers in a square. To do so, select the square and then press the different number keys. The square stores the multiple numbers.

REMOVE EXTRAS: Use the MENU > REMOVE EXTRAS command to clear redundant values entered in the puzzle versus entries which appear in a pre-filled cell or in pen mode in another cell in the same column, row or 3x3 box.

CLEAR LAST VALUE: Use '0' to clear the last value entered.

OVERWRITE: Re-enter numbers to remove the others.

HIGHLIGHTS: The row, column and/or 3x3 box will highlight in yellow when cells are filled with unique numbers from 1 to 9.

PENCIL MODE: When you enter a number in a cell and it is the only number in that cell, it will appear as a pencil mark (grey).

PEN MODE: Enter the same number a second time; it will confirm the entry in pen (blue). Switch between pen and pencil modes by re-entering the same number in the cell.

UNDO ENTRY: Use MENU > UNDO to undo your last action.For example, if you have multiple values stored in a cell, and you accidentally pressed one of them again and the others disappear, use MENU>UNDO to recall the previously stored values.

HINTS/SOLVE:
While playing the game, you can use MENU>HINTS/SOLVE. This option provides you the following features:
FILL CELLS - fills all possible values in all the unsolved cells.
SHOW ERRORS - highlights all the cells in which you have entered incorrect values. The highlight on the cells will disappear if you end the game or if you enter another value in that cell, even if the new value is incorrect.
SOLVE CELL - fills the correct value in the currently selected cell.
SOLVE COLUMN - fills the correct values in the current column.
SOLVE ROW - fills the correct values in the current row.
SOLVE 3x3 BOX - fills the correct values in the current 3x3 box.
SOLVE PUZZLE - solves the entire puzzle.
Note: If you use Hints/Solve, then your time will be tracked separately in High Scores. If you use 'Solve Puzzle' then your time will not be added to High Scores.
The puzzle index is displayed to the left of the timer. When you 'END' an incomplete puzzle, it is automatically saved and can be played later. Your best times for solving puzzles can be viewed from the 'HIGH SCORES' option on the main menu.
SOLVER:: SOLVER enables you to create your own puzzle and solve it. Enter the starting numbers and select MENU>DONE. You can enter an existing puzzle (for example, a puzzle from a magazine or a newspaper), or create an entirely new puzzle. If the puzzle has multiple solutions or no possible solution, you will be prompted to edit the puzzle. If the puzzle has a unique solution, you can begin to play the puzzle as you would the other puzzles.
KEYS:
Arrow Keys: For navigation.
Keys 1-9: To enter that number for the square.
Key 0: To clear a number from a square.
For touch screen devices:
Enter the value in the square: touch the square and click the pen font bubbles.
Clear the value in the square: touch the square and click the eraser bubble.
